Hello Tech Writers,

I've accepted a new assignment as of August 4 with duties that are
mostly curricula development and training (rather than mostly designing
and writing online Help and printed documentation). I would greatly
appreciate your feedback. I will summarize and post the results.

1) What DTP program should I have my boss purchase: Pagemaker, Quark,
or Ventura Publisher?

2) What graphics or draw program should I have my boss purchase:
Corel, Photoshop, Paint Shop Prog?

Background: Company uses Office 97 and RoboHELP. They will NOT
purchase Framemaker or Interleaf.
Duties: I will be rewriting all the technical documentation into
manuals for the technical support staff. I will be writing curricula
and doing the actual training. I am skilled in Quark and PageMaker.
