Does anyone out there design/write/develop (whatever word we're using!)
documentation for people with severe visual impairments (blind, legally
blind, etc.)? I've searched the archives pretty thoroughly (I think) and
there seems to be a lot of talk about using a font with a point size of at
least 11 or 12, with an age 40+ audience in mind. However, I'm talking
about an audience with more severe visual impairments --- say, requiring
more like a 16 point, sans serif font at the very least.
So, if any of you write documentation like enlarged print or even Braille
manuals (or convert existing manuals to either) OR write text-based online
documentation for people who use screen readers. . . I desperately need to
talk to you!!!! Please e-mail me at hachtziger -at- rocktenn -dot- com -dot-
