Description: Write and produce Operation, Maintenance, and Technical
Reference manuals for Inspection equipment used in the Beverage and
Packaging industries. Must be able to manage own projects from start
to completion. Will have responsibility for a product line. Must
interface with engineers yet be able to write for a less educated
audience. This is a permanant position with potential for
advancement.
Requirements: Applicants must have a technical degree or a strong
electro-mechanical aptitude and good writing skills. Writing and DTP
is done on Powermacs using FrameMaker, Canvas, and Word Perfect.
Experience with the above or similar applications is essential.
Macintosh Computer experience a plus.
My Preferences: Someone who is positive and upbeat, gets along well
with others, learns fast but can stick with long term projects. A
person who can work with our styles and formats and won't try to
re-invent the process in their own image. Someone who is able to take
direction yet has the qualities of a leader.
Applicants must be ready, willing and able to work in Torrance
California. Any travel and/or relocation expenses are the
responsibility of the applicant.
All work onsite in Torrance. Hours 8-5 M-F
