For what it's worth, we typically receive release notes from vendors for
telecommunications hardware, replete with diagrams, screen shots, and
illustrations... Their manuals are voluminous and upgrades to the code
occur so frequently that "Release Notes" serve to appease interim
consumer appetite for "total" documentation.
