documentation professionals ***

Contract or temp-to-permanent technical writer & editor positions with a
dynamic fast growing telecommunications company located in Andover, MA.

Well-financed emerging-growth company needs several qualified tech doc
specialists to develop Customer Documentation and Technical Manuals for
state-of-the-art digital telephony systems.

* Technical Writer -- user docs
Long-term contract or temp-to-hire position writing end-user
documentation for non-technical audience. Describe features of telephony
system and clear, user-centric instructions on how to deploy the system.
Doc set includes user guides, summary features card, marketing
collateral, internal documentation of both the hardware and the
Windows-based telephony software.

Will create MS-Word docs, online help, Acrobat files, and HTML. Must
have a minimum of two years techwriting experience and some online help
experience. Knowledge of telephony concepts, networks, OOP,
web-development a plus.

* Technical Writer -- technical docs
Long-term contract or temp-to-hire position writing technical
documentation for installers, system administrators, and vendors.
Develop hardware and software installation, operations, maintenance,
call processing applications,and network management materials. Must
have a minimum of five years appropriate techwriting experience. Will
create MS-Word docs, online help, Acrobat files, and HTML.

* Technical Editor
Work closely with technical writing and engineering team to produce
highest quality paper and on-line materials. Will develop work flows,
style guides, QA procedures, and pre-flight checklists. Must understand
all aspects of documentation writing and production. One year experience
minimum, BA/BS degree required with strong writing and editing skills.
Good opportunity for an experienced editor, or someone who'd like to
grow into technical writing role. MS-Word preferred. Willing to train in
usage of tools.
