Does anyone have suggestions about developing wordless manuals?
------------------------------

This information is from the STC Annual Conference
Final Program. You may want to pick up the following
books by Dr. Edward Tufte:

"The Visual Display of Quantitative Information"
This book analyzes and teaches the underlying
principals of the finest graphical presentations
of data from 1700 to 1982.

"Envisioning Information"
Explains how to present complex conceptual
material, as opposed to data, through visual means.

"Visual Explanations: Images and Quantities, Evidence
and Narrative"
This book focuses on representing verbs and actions
through visual means.
