quite often my customers have complete design rules combined with fixed
formats. Then I do no more than apply the right style at the right place. This
not even calls for a full understanding of the publishing program you are to
use, e.g. Interleaf.

Drawing a few boxes and arrows should be no problem with most programs. If
there is much more to a figure I have someone do it.

"Many trades", not "all". It is more important to know who will do it, not to
do everything by youself. Some sound understanding of technology will help you
to do at least some more simple things in many areas.

Greetings from Germany,
Alexander
