POSITION AVAILABLE:
Lightbridge, Inc. has immediate openings for two permanent, full-time
Documentation Specialists.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Position 1: Develop printed and online information for Windows 95
client-server sales support applications.
Information will be developed by hands-on study of the software, interviews
with technical experts, and then synthesis and organization of information
with review and direction.
Position 2: Develop printed and online information for Windows 3.1/Windows 95
point-of-purchase application.
Information will be developed by use of specifications, hands-on study of the
software, interviews with technical experts, and then synthesis and
organization of information with review and direction.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Position 1:
o 7-10 years' experience in technical communication
o FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or equivalent publishing tools
o RoboHELP, HDK, or equivalent online tools
o Previous on-line help development under Windows 95 necessary
o Information Mapping or structured documentation helpful
Position 2:
o Five years' experience in technical communication
o Microsoft Word, FrameMaker, or equivalent publishing tools
o RoboHELP, HDK, or equivalent online tools
o Previous on-line help development under Windows 95 helpful
o Information Mapping or structured documentation helpful
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (both positions):
o BA/BS
o Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
o Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate,
interview,
and work quickly and effectively in a quality-oriented team environment
o Good learning skills; adaptable to changing environments
o Attention to detail
o Familiarity with wireless or cellular applications helpful
