In the TECHWR-L digest dated June 14, a file was attached that triggered
all my anti-virus software and posted alerts everywhere.

First of all, the sender must know of the virus. Secondly, the others who
downloaded the file must know of it as well. For this reason, I am telling
others what my anti-virus software detected so that you can take steps to
protect yourselves as soon as possible.

Beyond that, I would strongly urge contributors to use extreme caution in
attaching files. New viruses are emerging all the time, and no matter how
equipped a person can be with the latest anti-viruses, there is no way to
be 100% safe.
