I recently read that someone had made 'Y2K' a trademark to brand the
millennium-compliance work that they do. Can they do this?

By the way, NCC has a wealth of Year 2000 resources: you can get an
idea from http://www.ncc.co.uk including '30 Essential Actions for
the Year 2000 Problem'.
