Position: 2 Technical Writers (temporary -- 6 months)

Location: Montreal

Salary: Depending on experience.

Starts: June 25, 1997.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Edit and write the French user guides and maintain their quality. Take
part
in the writing of implementation and training guides concerning Pay and
Human Resources systems. Occasionally, write Windows on-line help screens.
Advise colleagues on writing standards.


SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Bachelor's Degree in French Literature or in Translation with
specialization
in French.

* Two-year experience in technical writing and one year in on-line help
screens writing in particular.

* Thorough knowledge of Word and WordPerfect for Windows.

* Knowledge of FrameMaker publishing tool (an asset).

* Thorough knowledge of written and spoken French.

* Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

* Great interest in client/customer satisfaction and skills in interpersonal
communications.

* flexibility in solution searching.

* Capacity for team-working

* Autonomy, dynamism, initiative, organizing mind


Note: Those two temporary positions will fill the needs for a project
ending on December 19, 1997. One of the two positions may be converted
into
a permanent job.
