JOB TITLE: Intermediate Technical Writer - 1 Position Available

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Research technical information, write and edit original documentation, and
complete graphic layouts; prepare specific sections of complex or
technical manuals, or update current manuals to reflect new product
releases; organize and prepare the content of original software
documentation; examine software for usability and logic accuracy, and
report any bugs to product development. Will work exclusively with UNIX
operating system.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications or English plus 3 years experience as
a technical writer, or the equivalent: or a Master's Degree in Computer
Science or a related field plus 1 year experience as a technical writer,
or the equivalent. Six months technical writing experience on advanced
network concepts. One year working with UNIX operating system.
Experience may be gained concurrently in an academic or working
environment.

SALARY: $35,500 - $45,000/annually, approx. 40 hours/week/8:00am - 5pm
