Hello,

I am new to the list and wondered if anyone could point me to information about the do's and don'ts in writing good online help for software.

I am rounding the up the publication of a WPDOS 6.x macro that lets you create and modify custom macro dialog boxes directly on-screen. I am a bit stuck on the helpscreens as available space to disply text is limited to a 23 lines of 70 characters wide. Writing clear and compact helptext is an art that I do not really master. Others who have, might share some useful hints in writing good online help.

Thank you,

Geert Jansen
