I use the spelled-out "okay" because it can take suffixes.
I mean you might want to mention that something has been okayed,
or that someone is okaying something... assuming that the thing
is okayable...

By the way, some contend that the O is a misunderstanding of a
German script A and that the original abbreviation, standing for
Alles Korrekt, was commonly scrawled by a German advisor during
the American War of Independence.
