"Ick bin ein Berliner," I thought, meant I am a jelly donut. At least that
is how I have always heard the story. I think the classic Spanish
translation story is with the
Chevrolet car the Nova. In Spanish "No Va" means "it doesn't go." Needless
to say, when the car was shipped to Spanish-speaking countries, it didn't
sell well.
