warnings, notes and hints.

What's being done out there? what have you seen and liked (or
didn't like)?
-------------------------------

In the current series of manuals I'm doing, I indent the paragraph 1/2",
italicize it, and place a flag (16-pt Windging O) next to it in a 1/2"
hanging indent.

I've also used a left hand pointing. The one in Zapf Dingbats is better
than the Wingding.

In a previous company, the guy who did the training manuals used a bomb
next to caveats. That's a Wingding M (no threat intended).

I've used lines, boxes, and shading before, too.
