No, Mark Levinson was correct. It was Mr. Jinx who said
"meeces to pieces" all the time. He appeared in the
"Pixie and Dixie" cartoon, which was part of the
"Huckleberry Hound Show".
BTW, "meeces" is listed in the New Hacker's Dictionary,
