this is a reasonable minimum.

You might be interested in some kind of LAN between those computers, e.g. to
transfer screenshots. For this purpose (and a few more) I still like my
Netware 3.11 server that happenes to be a 386/40MHz with 16 MBs of RAM (at
some $800 a few years ago) and a 1 GB SCSI disk. - Never touch a running

ll> How many do you have now?

- Netware file server (hardly ever opened, 386/40, 16 MB)
- workstation to earn my money (Pentium 90 MHz, 16 MB,
only to be opened if really needed)
- experimenal machine (486DX4 100 MHz
for beta versions to be described or other adventures)
- communications machine AKA FIDOnet 2:2490/1719 and others
(I am using it right now, 486/40 MHz, 8 MB, *Hercules monochrome*)
