The hiring practices discussion has veered rather
far from topic. Although it's a matter of concern
to many, it's also not technical communication.
Much of the discussion seems to focus on what
happens (and people would rather believe doesn't)
or what should happen (when the writers can't control
it). Either way, non-productive.
Please take it off line.
