Ron, I use a Pentium 100 MHz with 16MB RAM. I run some pretty high powered
apps on my machine, and I think I don't begin to touch the processing power
of the CPU. The RAM and hard disk, however, are another story. I've maxed
out a 1.2GB hard drive and the disk I/O seems very slow. I also run up
against RAM shortages once in awhile.
I recently considered upgrading to a 200 MHz but decided to upgrade my RAM,
hard drive, and CD-ROM drive instead.
