Subject: Plagiarizing Acrobat Documents
In Acrobat Exchange, you can set up a PDF file so that the end-reader
cannot print it, change
it or select text/graphics in it. The result is that the reader can only
read it, nothing else.
You do this by changing the PDF's Document Security:
1. Open the PDF in Acrobat Exchange and choose File|Save As.
2. In the Save As dialog, click the Security button.
3. Set all the security options you want.
4. Save the PDF as whatever...
You can assign a security password, so that only you can change the
security options -- even if
an end-reader also has Exchange.
This should end your plagiarism worries, from within Acrobat. Remember,
though, that PDF files
might be printable by other PostScript viewers...
