I've heard it said that "everyone has one good book in him." Some people,
upon hearing this said with confidence, proceed to write a book. I've
read some of the resulting books -- not bad.

If it's important to you that there be a clear-cut difference between your
professional skills and the feeble attempts of the lowly masses, you
will be faced with the fact that rookies can hit home runs, too.
