Hi Techwrlers!
I'd appreciate anyone's input on this, especially those writers who
work in large corporate structures:

As a technical writer/communicator, do you report to someone who
specializes in DOCUMENTATION, or do you report to someone who is
responsible for PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT?

AND, how do you feel the reporting structure you work under helps or
hinders the quality of documentation produced?
