Since we are posting our messages to a public list, along with our names and email addresses, I don't see how anyone could object.

Subject: Newsletter article re The List

Hello,
I plan to write a few newsletter articles featuring highlights of
discussions from various Lists including the TechWr List.
The newsletter is for the Central Connecticut (USA) Society for Technical
Communication (STC) Chapter. (Strictly non-profit.) I think it would be
informative for STC members who are not members of Lists to get a flavor of
what goes on here. I would like to use full names, such as Charlie Kyle
wrote, or Bill Brown responded. I probably won't include an email address
unless it seems pertinent. If enough people strongly object to having their
first and last name used, I would consider using only first names. This
small issue of names does bring up the larger issue of privacy and of
ownership of information and opinion.
