So you're an exception. He did say "most." Why do you resent his
opinion when you're obviously not one of the people he meant his
statement to apply to?

I have a Windows machine (586/133). It plays my music CDs real well,
though I wish I could get it to automatically eject the discs when
they're done. (It gets to be a pain switching the monitor and groping
for the second mouse just to switch CDs.) Occasionally I use it to run
some Windows-only software I need to document, or to look at some file
that's in a Windows format that for some reason I can't read on my Mac.
The latter occurrence is rare.

I also have three Macs, all of which are performing some vital business
function (one's my Internet server and is co-located at my ISP; one's my
main machine, and one's my laptop, which also doubles as the Internet
router for the other two machines in my office).

My preference is clear, but that doesn't mean that some people don't buy
Windows computers on purpose. My clients? Most of them have been
Mac-based, largely because it's taken a while for me to get comfortable
with Windows, although both of my current major projects are Mac/Windows
dual-plaftorm.
