Another newbie here, based in Camden Town, London. I've only been a TW
for eight months and there aren't any others at the place I work, so it's
nice to meet some colleagues.

BTW - Re: I am a Technical Writer. Count your blessings that you get to
use "Technical" in your title! I've been forced to accept "Documentation
Writer" - despite already doing stuff for the website and marketing
materials.
I think the company's rationale is that Documentation Writers are cheaper
than Technical Writers.....
