I am currently working on a manual that requires numerous (over a hundred) screen captures. The screens are from a DOS program. My office has a copy of Hijaak, which I tried out, but I'm not happy with the results. The screen captures come out the size of the entire screen. When I try to resize the image, the capture loses its clarity. I tried capturing a reduced-size DOS screen, but the actual reduction is fuzzy before I even try to capture it, so the captured image is unacceptable.

Do any of you have experience with a product you'd recommend? Is there an easy way to do this?

I had previously used WinCap to capture Windows screens and that worked well, but the DOS screens seem to be a different beast. Unfortunately, I really have little experience in this area, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Carolyn
