Linda Castellani posed the question "what would you do with
the sign 'fresh fish for sale daily' ", and as the second
person taking issue with my posting within the same digest,
provides proof that parables are indeed dangerous tools.
As Leo intended, I'd leave the sign exactly as is: It says
everything the reader needs to know, and matches these with
the points the vendor wants the reader to know. Yes, you
could edit it the way I wrote; no, I can't imagine anyone
seriously doing it.
