That's easy: "Designing Object-Oriented Software" by Rebecca
Wirfs-Brock.

It's an abstract, code-independant overview of Object-oriented design.
It's also - get this - an enjoyable read!

After I read this book, I probably understood OOD and OOA better than
most of the developers I was working with. It laid the groundwork for
my current entry into programming in Borland Delphi and Smalltalk (using
which, no offense, I hope to move into Human Factors and GUI Design).

I recommend it constantly, without hesitation.
