I first learned Frame in 1987, and the learning curve was steep, steep,
steep. For one thing, the system used a mouse, which were not in common
use in those days. For another, it used the convention of paragraph
styles, and master pages, and I forget what else, which were all very
different. It had a point and click seriously WYSIWIG interface, all of
which were not standard, and this was years before Windows.

As a result, my subsequent Windows learning curve was a lot less steep,
and even now, as I relearn Frame, I am realizing how much I learned from
it to begin with.

One major quibble with it, though. I hate the online help and its less
than useful, limited search function.

I never took a Word class. I worked with Frame for three years from
87-89, but I'm sure I'm going to have to take a class in it eventually.
