Subject:Re: SCREENSHOTS FOR SOFTWARE ON UNIX? From:John Gough <gough -at- AUSTIN -dot- ASC -dot- SLB -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 13 Dec 1996 09:05:50 -0600
Use xv software (it's freeware) to capture the
screens and convert them to the format of
your choice. The screen capture tool is called "grab."
From the "Availability" section of the doc:
>The latest version of xv (or at least a pointer to it) is available via
anonymous ftp at ftp://ftp.cis.upenn.edu/pub/xv/. If you're
>not sure if you have the latest version, or you are missing the source or
documentation for xv , PLEASE pick up the latest version of the
>xv distribution. Do not send mail unless absolutely necessary (i.e., you
don't have ftp capability).
