WinHelp Resource Update

It's come to my attention that several postings to this list have made mention of a free, monthly newsletter for WinHelp authors that Weisner Associates publishes.

I wanted to clarify several points about this resource, since we've received so many inquiries about it:

*While we do publish a free newsletter, it is delivered quarterly
*While it does offer tips and advice for both WinHelp and HTML authors, it is very much a newsletter focused on marketing our products and services
*It is delivered via snail mail, not email, so requests should be accompanied by a US postal address
*We do not mail outside the US; however, an electronic (.PDF) version of the newsletter is available from our Web site at http://www.primenet.com/~wai

We also offer another resource for WinHelp and HTML authors -- the Help Author's Resource Kit (vol. 1) is a comprehensive, periodically updated CD-ROM based collection of tools, tips, and documentation, and includes discounts worth hundreds of dollars for products and services related to hypertext information delivery. You can download a free demo from our Web site (the demo is, of itself, an extremely valuable resource, with listings and descriptions of hundreds of WinHelp/HTML resources). Or you can download it directly via FTP from ftp.primenet.com/users/w/wai/harkdemo.exe.
