Hi Jan,

I am only assuming that the problem you describe is similar to my work
with linked or hypertext help files. In one or two applications I've
used, the Help file loads in it's entirety into memory. In VB4 and other
apps that create Help files, it is possible to "chunk" load and only
terminate parts of a verbose file so that memory is used more sparingly.
It's a matter of designing discrete "chapters" or other subdivisions of
one integrated help file.

Sorry I'm not more specific but check the specs regarding
the architecture of your Help files and see if any of the above applies.

This becomes a serious issue when graphics are incorporated into Help
text. I'm worked with a Help file last summer explaining GUI design that
is 18 Meg, 17 of which are pics.

Hey Help Experts and Tech Writers,

I've created a help project, using RH95, for a VB4.0 application. In some
of the context-sensitive help, I have jumps and/or popups. Sometimes it
executes, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't jump or display the popup,
sometimes I get a "not enough memory error", sometimes it just closes the
context-sensitive help popup. The problem only occurs when accessing help
while I'm running the application. If I run the help through RH95,
everything is peachy.

Any suggestions?
