Subject:Fixing an error that made it into print From:geoff-h -at- MTL -dot- FERIC -dot- CA Date:Mon, 28 Oct 1996 08:17:09 -0600
Jane Bergen wondered what to do about fixing an error that
made it into the printed (but as yet undelivered) manual.
Jane, true confession time: when it happened to me, we
printed up a batch of labels on the laser printer and
inserted them by hand into the manuals. Beats the heck out
of erratum sheets, reprints, and hoping nobody else will
notice. Cheer up! At least you caught the error before the
customer did.
