Ruth asked (I'm paraphrasing here) how to have different footer
info on different pages in Frame.

Create two new master pages (I'm assuming you're flopping info
on left and right pages) with the footer info you want. Then apply
the appropriate (left or right) master page to each revised page.

Techwhirlers:

I'm about to send printed replacement pages. I want unrevised pages to =
indicate Rev. 4.3 in the footer and revised pages to indicate Rev. 4.4. =
Both types of pages may be sent as replacement pages; for example an =
entire 40 page chapter may be sent out even though only pages 1, 3, 5, =
8, 10-15, 21-31 and 39 have been updated.)

Using Framemaker, if I change the footer, all the pages in the document =
will have Rev. 4.4 in them. This is a problem because I don't want the =
pages that have not been updated to say Rev. 4.4 - they are really Rev. =
4.3.=20

Additional info: electronic options are not possible at this time. The =
document=20
set I'm updating consists of 16 manuals of appx. 500 pages each. Typical =
number of replacement pages per document is 50-75.

Any ideas, suggestions, hints? Your feedback is appreciated.=20

Ruth
