Technical Writing Position

Allen Systems Group, a leading software provider in Naples, Florida
is seeking qualified candidates for a new Technical Writer position.
Requirements and experience for the position include:

--Three to five years of technical writing in a software development
environment. Entry-level candidates with a recent degree in English,
Journalism, or Technical Communications may also be considered.

--FrameMaker for Windows 95, including the ability to create books,
conditional sections, create templates, perform conversions from
WordPerfect
5.2+ for Windows, and create hypertext documents as Acrobat Portable
Document Files.

--Adobe Acrobat, including Distiller, Exchange, and Reader.

--Creating online documentation and developing standards for online
documentation.

--WordPerfect 5.2+ for Windows experience (we are presently migrating to
FrameMaker).

--Degree in English Composition, Journalism, or Technical Communications
preferred.

--Meticulous care for all details of the document publication process.

Principle references and writing samples will be requested.
