I have been a student member of the STC for three years now, and I
found it to be very helpful in exposing me to the variety of career
opportunities available to a tech writer. As a result of one of the
articles in "Intercom," I took several multimedia classes and taught
myself HTML. Now that I'm going through my senior year, "Intercom"
is something I enjoy reading because the articles are relevant and
informative and I'm left with a positive feeling about the career
I've chosen.
