just to keep up with the HTML, SGML, RTF debate. Software documentation
changes so fast that just keeping up with the tools is insane. This year I
am being asked to convert everything into WinHelp and Acrobat. I am sure the
industry will come up with something new next year. For me it's just another
conversion.

Keeping up with Bill may seem like more of a challenge than it really is.
Both WinHelp and Acrobat have been around for some years now, long enough to
be shaken out thoroughly and be easy to recommend for certain client needs.
And their paradigms are even older. While none of us actually prescient, we
believe that we need to try our best to anticipate future needs. From our
standpoint, we owe it to our clients to keep up and predesign as best we can.
