I'm following the conventions for capitalizing Web terms from the exellent
book_HTML and CGI Unleashed_ by John December and Mark Ginsburg. (ISBN
0-672-30745-6):

Web: (noun) the global collection of hypertext delivered using World Wide
Web servers; (adj.) relating to the World Wide Web -- for example, Web
servers, Web browsers, Web users.

web: (noun) a collectino of hypertext considered to be a single work; often
located on a single server or writer by a single author or organization;
(adj.) relating to a set of hypertext -- for example, the web
administrator, web development.

World Wide Web (WWW) is capitalized following the World Wide Web
Consortium, or W^3^C, which guides the technical development and standards
for evolution of the Web.
