It saves a *lot* of space to save in Indexed Color mode than in RGB
mode. And frankly I find the results better, too -- or is it just me?

I seem to find that JPEG is not as good looking on the Web [especially
on IBM compatibles] than GIF. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Not useable on the Web -- for what that is worth; might be totally
irrelevant to your circumstances.
