Moshe,
This sounds like the project from hell. My condolences on your losses.
If you are no longer contractually obligated to continue, drop the project
and carry-on. The expectations of your client are not realistic and they
have been getting more than their money's worth out of you. I don't think
under the circumstances that you've described, that you're abandoning them.
