Spacing in general.

I'm not going to quote any manuals (because, hey, they're only human--they
could be wrong, too).  I'm just going to point out that this whole debate
is rather like the debate about whether IBM or Mac is better.

Personally, I prefer to use the old conventions of language, including
double spacing where appropriate.  Of course, I still spell colour with a
'u' (but then, that's normal where I'm from).  On the other hand, one of my
co-workers worked in journalism for some time, and doesn't double space.
Drives me batty, I tell you.  But the upshot is, I can't really tell this
person that they're wrong.  I must simply persevere (and stick two spaces
into all of my writing <grin>).

I think it may come down to personal preference.  Now...before you charge
in on me with "conventions of language have nothing to do with personal
preference", I'd suggest you look into dialects for a while.  Or even the
differences between Canadian English and American English.

PS I also still spell judgement with an 'e' in the middle.
