TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
>I wonder why these books got published in the first place...
>Were publishers just trying to get a jump start on the market,
>and it turned out to be a bad decision?
>Bev, you're a genius. :-) Why do you think there were "How To
>Get the Most Out Of Windows 95" books on the shelves last JULY?
>;-)
This begs a question I have frequently asked - Why is it that
Microsoft gives us inadequate manuals (if any) with their
products, but there are plenty of "Getting the Most Out of ..."
titles available from (you guessed it) Microsoft Press.
