There is at least one programme: PQM 2.2, written by me. It is a DOS
programme, and it is a very useful tool in three situations:
1. You want to make a pre-screening of a document before the
useability test with real users.
2. You want to make a simulation on some important manual-parameters
before you decide how to write it.
3. You don't want to make a real usability test, but you want to know
if the manual is basically user friendly. (Of cause, a programme
can't test for nonsense or wrong or missing information.)
It includes a menu for aiding you with the usability test, too.
For more info, see my homepage (see below). From there,
1. Click the link "Information on PRC"
2. Click the link "The PC programme PQM 2.2"
If you can't do that, please e-mail me directly.
The price incl. my book (which is necessary to use the programme) is
DKK 1700 + sending costs (+ VAT if applicable in the European Union).
The price includes one year or at least one version free updates.
To the US the total price is DKK 1810 =3D ~ US$ 300 with the current
rate of 1 US$ =3D DKK 5.95 to 6.00. It is available from me, only.
