What cloud?
What Cloud? The cloud of uncertainty surrounding just what tag will achieve just
what effect. Truth is, I can't have any knowledge about what a page will look
like to a particular browser, without testing it in that browser. And no, I'm
not referring to changes made in the browser settings. (Though that in itself is
troubling. Yes, I know that if a user scrambles their settings it's their own
fault. But will that even occur to them as they lookat my page? Not at all. Any
difficulty they have in easily reading what I've published will be automatically
classed as *my* fault, not theirs, and I suspect you know that as well as I do.)
As a limited-use publication tool, HTML is useful. As an all-round publication
medium, frankly, it's disgusting.
