I'm attending a meeting of writing teachers and editors on Friday
and the topic is `one-on-one conferencing'. A few of us do it;
most don't. We all teach in the Netherlands, where writing
instruction is not -- ummm -- highly developed.

Would you do me a favour and note down the best (as in
most useful) comment you ever received on a text?

If you have the time and inclination, I'd also love to know about
the *least* useful comment you ever got...

Please reply to my personal address <mcphee -at- iss -dot- NL>.

Thanks.
