Peter Been asked if "technical development" and "technical
design" would be appropriate translations. I'd say that
they don't stand well on their own: design and development
of _what_? If you're talking about information, your own
sig provides the answer: "information design". If you're
talking about a physical product, and "product design and
development" is already taken, we need to know more about
what you're actually doing: usability testing, mechanical
design, customisation?
