In "Infoworld" April 15th, there's an article titled "Style Sheets to Ensure
HTML Interoperability" and subheaded, "Consortium Calls for Standard Tags."

In the article, it says that industry leaders have backed a proposal for a
common set of HTML commands to control the look of web pages. Members of the
World Wide Web Consortium, including Microsoft, Netscape, AOL, and
Compuserve are jointly releasing a document for a proposal called Cascading
Style Sheets.

So, it seems the industry leader are in agreement with David and a lot of
others. Evidently, there's a move afoot to set some kind of standard which
will allow us to develop compatible web pages.
