I wouldn't say "disguised as." For me, a To Do list is my *interface* to the
horde of time and project management tools ... After all, the whole point of
all the tools is to *get things done,* so the list of things to be done is the
most logical, intuitive interface I can think of ...

As you can tell, I'm not a fan of most personal information managers and
project managers. Most are built around dates, not tasks -- calendars, not To
Do lists. Writing my own PIM gets more and more attractive every day ...

I didn't mean to belittle anyone's time-management techniques, and I
certainly don't hold myself up as an expert on the subject. However, I think
that some of you who have written to justify long ToDo lists are describing
other management tools disguised as ToDo lists. ...RM
