Regarding that silly piece I posted about changing English spelling
conventions, two persons wrote to me to say that it was originally
written by Mark Twain. That may be true.
It is also amazingly similar to an essay that we had in a collection
at home. (My husband pointed it out to me.) Here is the title of the
essay in question, for those who are interested.
Dolton Edwards, "Meihem In Ce Klasrum." Reprinted from Astounding Science
Fiction, Street and Smith Publications, Inc. (1946) with permission of the
publisher. (Found in _Stress Analysis of a Strapless Evening Gown_, a
collection of humorous essays.)
I apologize for posting it. I was ending a stressful week.
